Training at East Beach

Dax Holdren and Will Strickland were at East Beach in Santa Barbara early on a Thursday morning to train with Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser. The AVP season starts in Miami on April 11th and the pros looked in good form during their training. Todd and Phil will be in Adelaide, Australia for the FIVB event taking place March 25-30, 2008.

Todd and Phil are currently leading the race among the United States men's teams trying to qualify for beach volleyball for the Beijing Olympics. (Qualification standings heading into FIVB 2008 Adelaide Australia Open.)

There were also some local players out that morning to get in their own playing time and training. What a great way to spend the morning - a bit of beach fun in the sun.
